Joint Frequency Modulation Project of Inner Mongolia Jinshan Thermal Power Plant

This project primarily adopts a business model that integrates AGC frequency modulation auxiliary services with thermal power units and the power grid. Since its official commissioning on September 23, 2021, it has demonstrated exceptional performance and has fully recovered its costs by 2023. To date, the system has completed over 1,400 cycles (calculated based on 100% DOD), with a cumulative frequency modulation mileage exceeding 900,000 megawatts. The energy storage system is in good health, with a SOH (State of Health) maintained above 94% and an efficiency exceeding 86%.
In the frequency modulation coordination with thermal power units, the regulation rate and frequency modulation accuracy of this project far exceed the regional average.

Since 2022, the project has ranked first in terms of revenue for six months in the West Inner Mongolia FM auxiliary service market, becoming one of the best FM power sources in the West Inner Mongolia power grid. In addition, the actual operational performance of the project's air cooling system is excellent, with the temperature difference of the battery cells controlled within 3℃ and the dispersion degree of the PACK voltage less than 0.3%, reaching the industry-leading level.
