Beijing State Grid High-Voltage Cascade 6C Energy Storage System

To explore the possibility of energy storage systems supporting grid power within the power grid, the Beijing Smart Grid Research Institute under the State Grid Corporation of China requires a complete set of experimental equipment. This equipment is required to output as high a power as possible under the same capacity conditions to meet the short-term power support needs of the grid. The battery system adopts a high-voltage cascade approach, which is the first breakthrough in high-voltage cascade energy storage that exceeds 1C. This approach places extremely high demands on battery thermal management.

This product, developed and manufactured by Tongqi New Energy, has exceeded expectations in actual testing and received high recognition from the State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute. It may be applied on a large scale in the State Grid system in the future.
