Shared energy storage project at Taiyangshanquan substation in Ningxia

The shared energy storage project of the Taiyangshan Quanyan Substation in Ningxia is located in the Taiyangshan Development Zone of Wuzhong City, adjacent to the western edge of the Mu Us Desert. In recent years, significant progress has been made in economic construction and ecological protection in this region, with the number and scale of high-tech enterprises continuously expanding.

The project was officially launched at the end of 2023 and successfully connected to the grid in July 2024.

Upon commissioning, the project will significantly enhance the grid regulation capacity and comprehensive utilization rate of new energy in the Taiyangshan Development Zone, effectively ensuring the safe and stable operation of the grid. It will become an important demonstration project in the local shared energy storage field, showcasing the new achievements of regional economic and green development progressing together.
